It's situated opposite the Kokon fountain. It's one of the biggest and most decorated house in Arbanassi. The Konstantzaliev's house was built in 17th c. being a number of times reconstructed later on. It is a two-floor house. The basement was built of stone. There was premises for the keeper - a room and a kitchen, a servant's room, cellars, a warehouse, a stable for several horses, a hiding place, main and back staircases, as well as an additional staircase connecting the hire place with the first floor. The main entrance was protected with a solid studded door. For its safety there was a special opening protected from the outside with metal bars. The second floor was of wooden construction. The rooms upstairs are grouped as follows: reception premises, bedroom premises and kitchen premises. The reception premises consist of a drawing room (haet), a sitting-room (odaya) and a dining room. They are all connected and are directly accessible from the main entrance. The dining - room provides linkage to the cooking premises and the halls which lead to the bedrooms and the sitting room. In the most remote part of the house, remote from the main entrance, there is the maternity room. The center of the house falls in the dining - room. It is flanked by the reception - rooms and by the kitchen. An isolating hall serves the connection from the bedrooms and the sitting room in the back staircase and the reception-rooms. The cooking premises - a kitchen, a larder, a baking-room, a wash room, water closets - are all situated around the back staircase and are also directly connected with the dining room. Although the premises are spacious and roomy, the house emanates coziness and warmth. This is additionally emphasized by the rich decorative wood carving work. The owner must have been a man of a sophisticated taste, while the builder must have been talented for creative work.
